This song came to me, like many of my songs, while driving to or from my apartment to or from school on Edgar Road in St. Louis, Missouri. It started with me trying to improvise the song of a similar title from that '60s film adaptation of 'Romeo and Juliet,' and became something else entirely, which I like quite a bit more.

Sometimes, I omit the "strike me...." just in case.
